Nominations for Everyday Heroes can now be submitted to the American Red Cross for any heroic act that took place between January 1, 2006 and December 31, 2006. Deadline for nominations is January 5, 2007.

01-May-06	Michigan Avenue Transformed Into An Avenue Of The Arts The American Red Cross announces a fundraising event, Avenue of the Arts.  Concrete birdbaths have been sponsored by local businesses and will be decorated by local artists.  Birdbaths will appear in local business windows in downtown Jackson the first week of June and will remain at their designated location until September 22, 2006.
