All coming to Jackson courtesy of the American Red Cross’ Pop-Up Art Gallery. RED will be open in downtown Jackson from March 25 through March 30, 2010. Doors will open at 7pm Thursday, March 25 for a ticketed event.  Buy a ticket and be the first to see this highly anticipated gallery!  The gallery will be open to the public during daytime hours starting on Friday the 26th and will be hosting events in the evening hours. Artwork will be on display and for sale, at various price ranges, during all hours. RED will also feature a boutique offering artist inspired goods for sale, as well as items direct from the American Red Cross.

Where is this all taking place you may ask? We’re not telling. We’ll tell you that it’s happening in downtown Jackson, but that’s all we’re saying for now. You’ll just have to watch for it to pop-up!

 

ARTISTS:

 Want to sell and promote your work at our gallery?  This is a juried event, so please send digital images of the work or types of work that you hope to include in this event to Maggie@art634.com. We would like to have a wide range of sale prices and are including all mediums, to appeal to the diverse audience we are targeting. Please include your contact information, pricing information, and a brief bio. The deadline for entry is February 15, 2010. You will recieve 40% of the proceeds of your works sold and the rest will go to the South Central Michigan Red Cross!

Upon acceptance by the jury, you will receive a contract with details. The gallery will be manned at all times by Red Cross personnel and volunteers. If you are interested in being one of the featured artists giving a talk at one of the events, please indicate that in your bio. There will be advance marketing of the events, a website featuring the artwork, and the freedom to place your marketing pieces in the gallery.
